Negli scritti antichi si narra che la statua fosse alta ben 12.5 metri e rappresentasse la dea in assetto da guerra ma con l’animo sereno di chi protegge.

Numerosi i simboli presenti in quest’opera, dallo scudo recante il demone Medusa da un lato e il serpente sacro alla dea dall’altro, all’elmo in cui sono addirittura presenti simboli derivanti dalla cultura Egizia.

Faithful  reproduction of the legendary statue of the goddess Athena sculpted by Phidias in 438 BC.

In ancient writings it is said that the statue was 12.5 meters high and represented the goddess in a war dress but with the serene soul of the one who protects.

Numerous symbols are present in this work, from the shield bearing the demon Medusa on one side and the snake sacred to the goddess on the other, to the helmet in which there are even symbols deriving from the Egyptian culture.
